Jenny & Her Two Boyfriends – Horror Story

Jenny & Her Two Boyfriends - Horror Story

Jenny Cooper was the type of woman who could walk into a room and command attention. At 29, she was smart, strikingly beautiful, and charismatic. People often described her as the “life of the party,” but her closest friends knew she kept parts of herself locked away. Living in Seattle, a city of endless coffee shops, misty rain, and cozy streets, Jenny had created a life that was equal parts exciting and dangerous. She was juggling not one, but two relationships.

Her weekday boyfriend, Mike Bennett, was a rugged man’s man. He worked as a contractor and spent his free time hiking, camping, and fixing up old cars. Mike was intense and protective, with a temper that flared if things didn’t go his way. But he had a soft spot for Jenny, treating her like a queen.

Her weekend boyfriend, Eric Monroe, was the polar opposite. A tech entrepreneur in his mid-30s, Eric was suave, cultured, and generous. He whisked Jenny away to fine restaurants, theater shows, and romantic getaways at his luxurious lakeside cabin. Where Mike was earthy and raw, Eric was polished and refined.

Jenny loved the thrill of it all. She knew it was wrong, but the danger added excitement to her otherwise routine life. Little did she know, her carefully balanced act was about to spiral into a nightmare.

A Crumbling Facade
Jenny had rules to keep her double life intact: never post about either man on social media, keep her schedules separate, and always delete incriminating texts. But cracks began to form one chilly October evening.

Jenny was at Mike’s cabin in the woods, nestled deep in the Cascade Mountains. They’d spent the day chopping firewood and sipping hot cider by the fireplace. As they cuddled on the couch, Jenny’s phone buzzed. She glanced at the screen and froze. It was a text from Eric:
“I saw you today. You looked beautiful.”

Her stomach twisted. She hadn’t seen Eric in days. How could he have seen her? Quickly, she slipped her phone into her pocket, hoping Mike hadn’t noticed her reaction. She told herself it was a harmless coincidence, but the text left her uneasy.

The following night, she was out with Eric, enjoying a candlelit dinner at a French bistro downtown. He seemed distracted, glancing over her shoulder every few minutes. “Eric, is everything okay?” she asked.

He leaned in and whispered, “You didn’t tell me you were seeing someone else.”

Jenny’s blood ran cold. “What are you talking about?”

“I saw you with him yesterday. Some guy in a flannel shirt, all over you.” Eric’s voice was low but furious.

Jenny stammered, “That must have been someone else. Eric, you’re being paranoid.”

But Eric wasn’t convinced. He paid the bill abruptly and left her standing in the chilly night air. As she walked home alone, her phone buzzed again:
“Do they know about each other yet?”

The Anonymous Stalker
Jenny tried to dismiss the texts as pranks. Maybe it was a friend messing with her, or someone who had seen her around. But the messages became more invasive. Photos of her walking down the street, a shot of her apartment building, and even a picture of her sleeping—taken from her bedroom window—appeared on her phone.

The texts were always signed the same way: “Two Shadows.”

Terrified, Jenny started looking over her shoulder everywhere she went. She stopped seeing Mike and Eric for a week, hoping the stalker would lose interest. But one evening, while she was home alone, there was a knock at the door.

She peered through the peephole and saw no one. Hesitating, she cracked the door open and found a single red rose lying on the doormat. Attached was a note:
“Secrets are deadly, Jenny.”

Her phone buzzed again. This time, it was a video of her—taken just seconds earlier as she opened the door. In the background of the video, a shadowy figure stood at the edge of the hallway, just out of sight.

Jenny slammed the door shut and called Mike.

Mike’s Fury
Mike arrived within an hour, his truck screeching to a halt outside her apartment. He stormed in, his eyes blazing. “Why didn’t you tell me about Eric?”

Jenny’s heart sank. “Mike, I can explain—”

“No, you can’t!” he roared. “He called me. Told me everything. Who the hell do you think you are, playing us like this?”

Before she could respond, her phone buzzed again. She glanced at the screen and gasped. It was a live stream of her and Mike arguing in her apartment. The caption read: “Drama, drama. They’ll never trust you now.”

Mike grabbed her phone and smashed it against the wall. “You’re on your own,” he spat, slamming the door behind him.

Jenny sank to the floor, shaking. Who was doing this to her? How did they know so much about her life?

Eric’s Turn
The next day, Eric called her, his voice cold and detached. “Why is this guy Mike threatening me? He says you’ve been lying to both of us.”

Jenny tried to explain, but Eric cut her off. “I don’t want anything to do with you anymore. Don’t call me again.”

For the first time in years, Jenny felt truly alone. Her double life had collapsed, and now a shadowy figure was stalking her every move.

Escalation
The messages became more sinister. One night, Jenny woke up to find her apartment completely dark. Her bedside lamp wouldn’t turn on, and her phone was missing. Feeling her way through the apartment, she tripped over something in the living room.

It was her phone, lying on the floor with the flashlight on. The beam pointed toward the mirror, where the words “Two Shadows” were scrawled in red lipstick.

Jenny screamed and ran to her neighbor’s apartment, pounding on the door until they called the police. But when the officers arrived, the writing on the mirror was gone, and there was no sign of forced entry.

The Final Confrontation
Desperate, Jenny reached out to both Mike and Eric, begging them to meet her at an old diner on the outskirts of town. Reluctantly, they agreed. She needed them to believe her—to help her.

As they sat in the empty diner, Jenny explained everything: the texts, the stalker, the threats. Mike and Eric exchanged skeptical glances but agreed to work together to figure out who was tormenting her.

When they stepped outside, they found their cars wouldn’t start. The parking lot lights flickered, casting eerie shadows across the cracked pavement. Then they heard it—a slow, deliberate clap.

A figure stepped out from the shadows. Dressed in black, his face obscured by a hood, the man’s voice was deep and gravelly. “You think you can hide your lies forever?”

Jenny’s voice trembled. “Who are you? Why are you doing this?”

The man laughed, pulling back his hood to reveal a pale, scarred face. “I’ve been watching you for months. You belong to me now.”

The lights went out completely, plunging the lot into darkness. The roar of an engine echoed through the air as headlights illuminated the scene. A car sped toward them, its tires screeching. Jenny, Mike, and Eric scattered just as the vehicle plowed into the diner, erupting in flames.

The Haunting Legacy
When the police arrived, they found no sign of the hooded man or the car. The charred wreckage of the diner offered no clues. Mike and Eric left town shortly after, cutting all ties with Jenny.

Jenny moved to a new city and changed her name, hoping to escape her past. But the shadows followed her. Months later, a package arrived at her doorstep. Inside was a single red rose and a note:
“You can’t run from the shadows, Jenny.”

That night, her neighbors reported hearing a bloodcurdling scream. When they investigated, they found her apartment empty. Jenny was never seen again.
